This cuff bracelet designs displays a beautiful boulder opal with an amazing purple flash. I have been hanging on to this boulder opal for a few years, waiting for the perfect design inspiration. The purple flash in this boulder opal looks amazing with copper.

I fabricated this cuff from 16 gauge copper, hammering the surface to create texture. The fine silver bezel that surrounds this gorgeous boulder opal gemstone has been fused with recycled fine silver dust creating a very unique, rustic texture.   The little silver balls on the side of the cuff were formed from recylcled argentium silver and they were fused to the surface of the cuff. And finally, the entire copper cuff was given a beautiful patina of golds and browns.  This handcrafted boulder opal gemstone copper cuff, with it's rusticated texture and patina, is a beautiful piece of wearable art.

This handcrafted boulder opal gemstone copper cuff bracelet is approximately ~1.25” in width. The actual boulder opal stone setting is ~1.5” in width. Boulder Opal represents purity and intensity. It assists in emotional and mental balance, calms the inner soul. Facilitates actualization. Excellent stone for progress, expansion, and development. Facilitates communication between the Earth plane and the star people of this world and other worlds. Clears and brightens the aura, stimulates healing. Please avoid moisturizers and or perfume on the area of your wrist where your cuff will be worn, as it may react with the copper and leave dark marks on your wrist.  Also, some people may have an allergic skin reaction to copper and it will leave dark marks on their skin.  Either way, the dark marks can be washed off easily with a little soap and water.

Wearing copper bracelets for health benefits has a long history, all the way back to ancient Egypt.  Other than being very grounding, copper is also said to be beneficial for those who have arthritis/inflammation, joint pain, and joint stiffness
