This handcrafted Blue Ridge Turquoise sterling silver cuff bracelet was inspired by Native American jewelry design … I have always had a love for Native American culture, and especially the jewelry. I love fabricating this particular cuff design, and if you can’t tell, a lot of time and effort goes into this style of cuff. This cuff is definitely an heirloom piece to add to your personal collection.

I fabricated this sterling silver cuff from 14 gauge sterling silver rectangle wire. The unique texture seen here on this cuff was created by fusing recycled sterling silver dust to the surface. This texture is also found on the backside of the setting, as well as the fine silver bezel surrounding the stone. The entire cuff was given a patina bath and light polish to bring out the texture highlights for that rusticated finish I love. You will see this rusticated texture on most of my jewelry designs. This Native American style Turquoise cuff, with it's texture and patina, is a beautiful piece of wearable art.

Blue Ridge Turquoise comes from the Blue Ridge mine, in Lander County, Nevada. It is located in the rich Bullion Mining district and consists of nine mining claims. Orvil and Bessie Jack who had just moved to Nevada from Colorado filed the claim in 1956.

Turquoise is a strong stone for spiritual attunement and is very effective to aid communication. Be sure to wear this turquoise cuff bracelet when you need help speaking your truth.
