The fine silver bezel surrounding the turquoise stone was fused with fine silver dust for texture. This amazing cuff was given a patina bath, followed by a light polish to bring out the texture highlights.

Hubei Turquoise is found in the Hubei region of China. Today, most of the turquoise produced in China comes from the Ma'anshan and Hubei mines. The Hubei province includes the Yungai (also known as Cloud Mountain) and the Zhuxi mines. Turquoise from the Hubei region sometimes obtains the brilliant blues long favored by turquoise enthusiasts.
