What a beauty? This unique agate ring was designed displaying an amazing collector’s grade Laguna Lace Agate druzy gemstone. The handcrafted sterling silver ring band and the backside of the setting have been etched giving the surface a very organic texture. I surrounded this agate gemstone with fine silver, leaving the druzy crystals free to shimmer as the light bounces off each crystal face.

This handmade Laguna Lace Agate sterling silver ring is not for the faint of heart, with its substantial ring setting. The 16ga sterling silver ring band is 7/16” at the top and graduates to 5/16” at the bottom. The ring band and the back side of the setting was given a patina bath and light polish to bring out the etched texture highlights for that rusticated finish I love. The bezel setting surrounding the stone has been given a matte, satin finish.

Laguna Lace Agate was discovered in the 1940’s, located in a mountain range almost due south of El Paso, Texas and east of Mexican Highway 45 in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.
